What is the Seerah Project?

What this course is about...

Seerah Project courses are a set of 10 workshops on the life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ  - his character, his dealings, his interaction, his mission and his vision. 

Looking back at what shaped and formed the current state of the world we live in today and implementing the lessons from the seerah in the modern context. The workshops will cover the period before his noble birth to his final departure from this world.

  • Seerah103 = Intermediate Course B
  • Seerah104 = Advanced Course

Studying the seerah is a sign of  our love for the Prophet ﷺ. In order to love the Messenger ﷺ one has to know the Messenger ﷺ. 

Educate ourselves about the meaning of the Qur’an
Without the complete knowledge of the seerah we cannot understand the Book of Allah ﷻ - The Qur'an.

Increase our Iman.
Studying the seerah increases our Iman because it is full of lessons that make us reflect, ponder and appreciate the miraculous nature of how Islam emerged to change the history of mankind.

What's different about Seerah Project from other classes?

These creative workshops are designed with pedagogical considerations to engage the participant's understanding of the Messenger ﷺ with the effective use of digital technology. 

The workshops are open to all: brothers and sisters, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

The participants will continuously be assessed throughout the course with quizzes, discussions, assignments and collaborative learning. Finally, those that complete the course will be able to progress and enrol on Seerah 102 Insha'Allah.
