Zain ul-Abidin Shah:
Zain-ul-Abidin graduated with an LLB Honours (Law) from Huddersfield University before completing a Master’s in Information Technology at Loughborough University. With a strong passion for teaching, he later earned a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education from Nottingham Trent University and attained specialist Level 5 qualifications from De Montfort University Leicester. He has been teaching English, Maths, and IT in state-funded further education colleges, specialising in delivering Key Skills and Functional Skills through digital technology, particularly to support disaffected and disenfranchised youth.
In his pursuit of Islamic studies, Zain-ul-Abidin has attended numerous classes and seminars led by esteemed scholars across the UK, gaining Islamic knowledge, spiritual growth, and religious guidance. He places great emphasis on the authentic transmission of knowledge from scholars in the traditional Islamic sciences, believing that a close connection between the general public and scholars is crucial for the dissemination of genuine knowledge. As a grassroots activist, he actively engages with his community, focusing on spiritual and personal development, and collaborates with various community organisations to promote social advancement.
